On world book day we had a book swap. Children brought in 5 books and swapped them for tokens which they then swapped for new books. Everyone was very happy with their books and we had a good morning. In the afternoon we had a reading café. The school council were servers and waiters. Children could go to the café and choose a cake and a drink from the menu. There were muffins, flapjacks and shortbread we also had different kinds of juice. We invited our parents to come and read with us at the Reading Café.
